In the spring, Guntersville celebrates the talent and originality of local and regional artisans at the annual Art on the Lake event. This year's festival will take place April 16-17, 2016 and will feature more than 120 artisans, as well as music, food, and children’s activities. Art on the Lake is held along the waterfront.
The 4th Annual Alabama Farm and Poultry Expo & Spring Outdoor Show will be held on April 7-8, 2017 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the VFW Pavillion and Fair Grounds 1441 US Highway 431 Boaz, AL. The 2-day event showcases Farm and Garden Equipment, RVs, Boats, ATVs, Arts & Crafts, Children’s Play Area, Folk-Life Exhibits, Daily Live Entertainment, Food & Retail Vendors, BBQ Chicken Grilling Contest and a KFC Chicken Eating Contest. In the summer, Arab pays homage to the Poke Salad (a green grown in abundance around North Alabama) with the annual Poke Salat Festival. Scheduled for May 21, 2016, the festival includes arts and craft vendors, food, children’s activities, and a concert in the city park. Local restaurants offer up a variety of dishes featuring the honorary poke salad plant.
Music takes front and center stage in August with Albertville’s Main Street Music Festival. With two days of music and fun, families will find a variety of entertainment including food, vendors, and even water fun. The 2016 festival will be held August 5-6.

From Thanksgiving to Christmas, Arab City Park is a-light with Christmas in the Park. More than two million lights are displayed along the park’s mile-long walking trail. Visitors can walk the paved walkway and enjoy the magical display of festive lights each evening until around 10 p.m.
