F is for FOOD

Foodie February

For year’s Valentine’s Day has “owned” February, but you might be surprised to learn that the F in February could actually stand for many different kinds of food! Don’t let one day of pink candy hearts constrain your celebration! There are six month-long food holidays in February. In fact, each day of the month is a day to celebrate a different type of food!

To get your February food festivities off to a great start, this week we are sharing with you the top places to eat in Marshall County. And, don’t just take our word for it. Both Yelp and Trip Advisor agree!

If you are out shopping in Boaz and want to grab a bite of lunch, Grumpy’s and Mill Street Deli are two excellent choices. Grumpy’s is located at 425 South McClesky Suite 544, Boaz, AL. The restaurant is a winner of six Sand Mountain Reporter People's Choice Awards and won the 2016 1st Place Taste of Sand Mountain award. A fan favorite is the veggie melt but save room for their pecan cobbler with ice cream for dessert. They even have a rewards program so the more you visit the better.
