“We’re getting married!”  The holiday season doesn’t just celebrate Christmas and bringing in a new year, it is also one of the most popular times for couples to get engaged. When you think about it, it truly is the best time to pop the question. Family being together and childhood friends visiting home for Christmas, no one will miss the special occasion. It doesn’t matter what platform of social media you are on, you are almost guaranteed to see a proposal photo. It’s a very exciting time in a couple’s life and Marshall County has plenty of breathtaking venues for that perfect wedding day.

Eagle Awareness Weekends

Eagle awareness weekends kick off on Friday, January 19th at the Lake Guntersville State Park for the 33rd year. The 2018 Eagle Awareness Program opens with a host of family activities including kid’s crafts and story time. Each weekend through February 18, Lake Guntersville State Park will host three days of speakers, family activities, and live birds of prey.
